(SAVAGE, Minn) - Chief Manufacturing Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Gill as President and CEO. After joining Chief in March, 2004, Gill has led Company Operations as well as Product Development. Gill assumed the responsibility of COO late last year, successfully leading the merger between Chief and SANUS. As President and CEO, Gill will provide global leadership for the combined Chief and SANUS business.

Dale Glomsrud, the company’s current Chairman, President and CEO said, “Scott has the right mix of integrity, experience, vision, creativity, analytical talent, and coaching skills to provide great leadership for Chief and SANUS in the years ahead.”

Dale Glomsrud will hand over the day-to-day operations to Gill but will continue in his current role as Chairman of the Board, focusing on key development needs that support the strategic direction of the company, an industry leader in technology mounting solutions. Glomsrud has been an integral part of the Chief business as President and CEO since 1988. Glomsrud has grown the businesses to a global, 185 employee operation through concentrated, strategic product development, customer service focus and integrated marketing efforts.
