Sanus Systems introduces break-through retail display
for its line of flat panel TV wall mounts
(First-of-its-kind display debuting with Canadian retailers simplifies wall mount selection for consumers making flat panel TV purchases.)

(St. Paul, Minnesota) -- Sanus Systems has introduced a new retail concept for simplifying the selection of flat panel TV wall mounts by consumers. The display is the first of it's kind and is debuting in Future Shop and Best Buy Canada stores throughout Canada. The 12' wide by 7' tall display showcases thirteen Sanus flat panel TV wall mounts, utilizing the space to educate consumers on the types of mounts available and what they can do for them.

The display shows a full selection of mounting options for small, medium and large flat panel TVs. Each option is on display with a clear plastic "TV screen" so consumers can grab the plastic and see how smoothly the Sanus mounts operate. Also within the display is the stock of each of the items, so when a consumer chooses which mount they want, they can find it directly below the selected mount. This display is the most comprehensive flat panel mounting display built to date.

According to Keith Pribyl, director of retail sales for Sanus Systems, the new wall mount display takes a complex part of the flat panel purchase process and simplifies it, therefore breaking down a key barrier to the flat panel sale. "The display also increases the attachment rate of mounts to flat panel sales by providing clear and comprehensive choices for the consumer. Early results are showing that consumers are finding the display to be very helpful," Pribyl said.

Plans for incorporating the Sanus Systems wall mount display into U.S. consumer electronics retail outlets are continuing, and the first displays are beginning to appear at selected stores, Pribyl added.
