SANUS Introduces Second Generation Universal Wall Mount

(Saint Paul, MN) -- SANUS introduces its new Second Generation Universal Flat Panel Plasma and LCD Mount for TVs from 27" to 84", fitting the greatest range of TVs in the industry and supporting up to 280 lbs. The easy-to-install product - Model VMPL3 - features the patent pending Virtual Axis™ fingertip tilting system that provides smooth tilt motion with the touch of a fingertip and stays in position at any angle, allowing large flat panel TVs to tilt up +6" to down -12".

Model VMPL3 fits virtually all medium, large and extra-large size flat panel TVs and greatly simplifies the mount selection process by consumers; this also benefits retailers by reducing the number of wall mount SKUs needed in stock.

This "Ultra-Universal" Model VMPL3 wall mount is the latest innovation by SANUS Systems, the company that invented universal mounts fewer than five years ago. The product, featuring heavy gauge steel construction, comes in two durable finishes (silver or black) and is currently shipping. The list price is $249.99 U.S., $319.99 Canadian.

SANUS' VMPL3 Universal Wall Mount features telescoping horizontal and vertical arms, allowing the same mount to fit the largest flat panel TVs, and letting the mount expand to be anchored to a width of three wall studs. Simply mount two universal mounting brackets to the TV and hang the set on the wall mounting plate. A safety bolt locks the universal mounting bracket securely in place.
