I don’t know what the other guy is taking about. I run an integration team called Simply Smart and we use these exclusively. The surge protector that fits into it is what sold us on using this product, but even without that we are happy with this piece.

Don’t waste your time.
I manage a custom integration team, and we have always preferred Sanus flat panel mounts. This is by far the most poorly designed Sanus product we have ever used. The dogleg fastener design is absolutely the worst we have had to try to install, and inferior to any other recessed flat panel box we have used. This product was obviously never properly vetted before release. We have thrown the last few we had in the trash and are using another company’s product.
